"Ze Wagon Wheel. Eat ze Wagon Wheel"

Remember those ads?
Those commercials are some of my all-time favourites.

Little Boozle 2011

I have to say that Wagon Wheels are one of my all-time favourite treats.

Little Boozle 2011

Making them is quite easy, quite messy
 and quite fun.

Little Boozle 2011

It is a perfect "cooking with children" recipe.
The work isn't too delicate,
there aren't any precise measurements
and, most importantly,
they get covered in chocolate and get to lick their fingers.

Little Boozle 2011

The end result is a bit like eating home made mashed potato and gravy
amd comparing it to the KFC variety.

Little Boozle 2011

They don't taste the same
but they are both fabulous in their own right.

Little Boozle 2011

(Please don't email me to tell me that KFC potato and gravy
isn't a real food. I know that.
But it does taste good)

Recipe: Wagon Wheels
(I didn't use as much marshmallow or jam- they were rich as it was.
I also didn't use 100s and 1000s.
Why would you put 100s and 1000s on a Wagon Wheel?)

The wagon wheels look yummy!

I have to disagree about KFC mash and gravy. I find it tastes like cardboard. :)

I absolutely refuse to look at these sinful pictures or I will be caught in a making and eating frenzy. I spent all my pocket money on wagonwheels one year in high school. Cherrie

My husband is a HUGE Wagon Wheel fan - I think I know what to make him on his birthday this year!
