Stunning in its simplicity.

(Georgie Hallam)

Little Boozle 2010

Yarn- Cleckheaton Country Naturals 8 ply
in a colour chosen by the little goddess
(hence pink and not the gorgeous green and purple yarn that I was waving in front of her face)

Little Boozle 2010
(truer colour)

Simple with a gorgeous result.
I love the line of the dress body
and the clever way that the neckline is formed.
Little Boozle 2010

I think I am quite smitten with knitting for the time being...

It's absolutely gorgeous!! So how many balls of yarn did this one take?

I'm pretty sure this is the next one up on the knitty list. Once I've finished reknitting a squashed mosquito wing - don't ask. I would also love to know how much yarn this used(?) (as she peripherally eyes off her stash in the far right corner.

My daughter is a lot cheaper to knit for ;) This used just over 5 50g balls for a size 4 and a plain garter hem. There are a fair number of hem variations offered (lace, ruffled etc) which would probably eat further into that 6th ball.

I think I might have to make it up soon too if I ever finish this grown up cardi that is taking me forever.

Ooh, it's just gorgeous! Now, if I could find something like that in a crochet I'd be set!
