...I didn't find a single live beastie
but I did find myself living in a very clean, very organised house.
Silver lining and all that.
...I said goodbye to my summer with David Tennant in Dr Who re-runs.
...I got my life back.
Just in time for school holidays.
...Mr Boozle and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary, oh, so quietly.
...my 8 year old asked me how someone could have a baby if they weren't married
and I wished that I could remember being so innocent.
...I explained to my 7 year old that no, the word sexy doesn't mean cool
and would he please stop using it
...and I consequently found myself trying not to explain what sexy actually does mean.
...I got to knit a little and I even started to
play with some yarn dyeing.
...I started to realise how much I will miss my daily dose of rainbows
when the little one graduates kindy in one more term.

As always your blog made me smile. Enjoy the holidays. Love the rainbows and the tunic is BEAUTIFUL. And a clean home has me turning green with envy... must mean it's something I desire myself and should get off my butt and do at some stage.
Loving the knittery and celebrating your triumph over the beasties.
haha we had the "sexy" phase recently too. Your blog always makes me smile, thanks.
Yay on no beasties :) Love the knitting. Agree on the sexy (totally ugh! when it comes from the mouths of kids!)
Ooh, what beautiful rainbows, of all sorts! Was recently asked a similar question by my girl :)
beautiful Rainbows Mae. I will miss my regular dose of rainbows too. (remind me of that when I complain about the volume of artwork that comes home from kinder)
Rainbows are lovely aren't they - but they might not go - just change. We are now getting them sprouting out of a cloud at each end - usually over a castle.
Laughing at you explaining 'sexy'.
Were there actions??
