This is a super cute, super easy pattern...

...and, having used cute fabric, my daughter adores them,

though she is a little perplexed as to what funky means.

(How would you explain the meaning of funky to a 3 year old?)

I thought that the line of the trousers would be "over-the-top" flared

but in the end I think that the cut is just about perfect for the look.
