Red. Not pink. Yay!

Little Boozle 2011

Knitting adult sized clothing is rather time consuming.
The cardigan that I am making myself is dragging a bit at the moment
so I took a break to make this up for my daughter in the meantime.

Little Boozle 2011

Pattern: In Threes cardigan by Kelly Herdrich
Yarn: Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran Tweed

Even though the pattern only goes up to size 4/5,
it is so big on my nearly 4 year old
that I increased the length
so that there will be lots of wear to come.

She really loves the buttons too.

I enjoyed making this.
As you know, I love fast projects.
But this yarn was so soft and buttery, it was a pleasure to use.

Plus you will notice, it's not pink.
The little goddess announced brightly and emphatically this morning that "I really like red"

Next I am working on purple...

Very lovely, the buttons are really cute. Tell M I think red really suits her (nudge, nudge).

I like that! Shame the pattern isn't big enough for my girl.

I also like the one you are doing for yourself :) I so need to learn to knit. lol

I love it! My mum knitted my daughter a jacket with the same yarn, but in a lovely indigo. I love this pattern, it might be my next project!

I love red! What a great little cardigan and of course the little goddess wearing it is precious! I am constantly amazed at how many beautiful things you make!
