A great basic pattern.
I have had this pattern for a while but it didn't inspire me.
I made it up this week as it was a great pattern to use some co-ordinating cords with.
It is a really easy to put together zippered pattern
with limitless room to co-ordinate, adorn or embroider.
Pattern: Farbenmix Muriel.
Fabric: Robert Kaufman cords
Embroidery: Huups Mini Florets 2
Approval rating: After an initial tantrum unrelated to the dress
and related to the little goddess' general mood this morning,
she hasn't asked to take it off and it is mid avo
so I will take that as a winner.
Disclaimer:
While I may have been responsible for the rainbow arms and red legs in a clumsy attempt to co-ordinate
colours until I can make a red long sleeved tee,
the purple socks are in no way, shape or form
my responsibility...
...but at least there aren't any sandals with the socks today.

Ha! I can relate. This morning I was tempted to put a sign on my 6 year old's back saying 'my Mum had nothing to do with dressing me this morning.'
Love that pini. Looks like a winner.
I hope you have a great weekend.
Awesome dress!! I would love one my size haha. Good job
Mollie is always putting on socks that don't match. *sigh*
Love the pinny! :)
i LOVE that cord, what a great combo. The dress looks lovely and I say go the purple socks ;-)
That dress is so cute, I saw it in your flickr stream. I had seen that pattern but didn't think it would make up so great. I really like the combination and embroidery you used.
I have started giving up caring what the smallish one wears, I figure as long as she is getting herself dressed and in no danger of frostbite...all is well.
Today it was a dramatic ensemble of leggings in black & white stripe, green shorts, purple tutu, fuchsia dress over all and the socks were blue worn with light pink sparkle shoes! Awesome :)
i love sandals with socks!! and i love her rainbow top too.
xx
