"Wicked"? Wicked!

Little Boozle 2011

Last night we went to see Wicked.

I bought the tickets so long ago,
I forgot that we were front row and centre.

(dancelife.com.au)

I didn't know a lot about it and hadn't been that interested in it.
But given how few musicals reach Adelaide and given the hype,
I wanted to go.

(theage.com.au)

I had a good working knowledge of "The Wizard of Oz"
and I knew a few of the songs
but otherwise decided to "go blind".

A wise decision.
It is clever and surprising if you don't know what is coming.

The show was such fun.
The costumes exquisite.
(Mr Boozle wondered how many vintage curtains died in the making of the costumes)
The music fabulous.

One of the best.

Looks great. I am laughing at Mr Boozles comment how would he even think of curtains, you are rubbing off on him I think!

Tas, when I was in New York (just wanted to say that in a sentence because it reminds me I was in New York) my cousin said Wicked has been her absolute fav on broadway- she raved about it. We saw west side story- well, because I was in New York!
Hooray for you, front and centre- fun

That really looks amazing. Wicked past me by when it ran in Sydney and now I'm sad that I missed it! x

I'm feeling sorry for the green Witchy lady with all that make up removal business. I'm sure there was a heck of a wardrobe budget. Mr Boozle should rest easy knowing the extreme unlikelihood of the maiming of a vintage curtain.
