A signature pose.

People tend to have a way that they pose to be photographed.,
especially celebrities.

It is often designed to show off their best assets - or attitude.

But it doesn't always work.

(though compared to the Hoff's other "signature" pose...)

So I think that I need to work on mine...

Perhaps you can tell that I am just not comfortable posing in front of a camera.
But maybe I should learn to embrace it and be more flamboyant.

Given that these are all destined for Vanuatu wear next week,
my new pose may well have involve one hand up holding a cocktail...

Only one hand - I think you should have two cocktails, one in each hand. Although that may result in a Hoff#2 outcome!

Nice! I especially like your Honey blouse (I have fabric and pattern waiting). When I go through my blog I realise that I have a few "signature" poses. As do my kids! But I like the idea of one with two cocktails....

Oh yes to holding up a cocktail... great pose indeed.

I dislike posing for photos too - my family says this is totally unfair because I make them pose for shots all the time - I'm very click happy. I tell them to suck it up! Life ain't fair.

Loving all your holiday sewing. Enjoy!

It's sooooo hard to pose. When those models complain about how hard their job is, we may actually agree (ha as if)!

I love Katy Perry's fizz. I'm like you, I don't feel comfortable posing. I think you should be posing with a cocktail glass, preferably one with a bevvie in it. I think it would lift the overall mood. ;)

That pose is still better than the reaching out about to slap the photographer pose that crops up a bit in this house. Or the do I really have to stand here again mum so you can take another stoopid photo just get on with it pose.

We expect modelled pics of the cocktail pose too you know (even if they may be out of focus Al)

Holding a tiny umbrella above your head while away would be good...
Love the little sleeve button detail on the Style Arc blouse - I have been itching to try their patterns.
Love the fabric of the honey blouse too.
Have a fab time!
