"A woman without her man is nothing. Discuss."

An English professor wrote the words:
‘A woman without her man is nothing’
on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

All of the males in the class wrote:
‘A woman, without her man, is nothing.’

All the females in the class wrote:
‘A woman: without her, man is nothing.’

(Probably an urban myth but I like it anyway)

Yet another explanation of why I adore the book 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' by Lynne Truss. Punctuated GOLD!

A classic example of why men are confused when it comes to women. They just don't get it. lol
