Play hard.

Little Boozle 2011

You get completely and utterly demolished at a card game with your 4 year old
without even trying to help her.
(Without any prompting,
near the end,
she tells you which card to use next round so that you will win something)

Do you feel:

i like taking your bat and ball and going home, demoralised
ii proud of her
iii inadequate
iv like hiding that game and pulling out chess next time
v amazed at her skill and empathy

vi a totally inappropriate urge to cheat next time...
after all it isn't your fault that she holds her cards where you can see them...
vii all of the above

You've done your job, along with passing on genetics, you've passed on the ability to win at card games. My father was incredibly smart yet couldn't win a trick when it came to cards with we children!! I've had game tactics suggested to me by my children, i just chalk it up to the fact, like reading books, playing board games & other games with my children, it just makes me sooooo tired!! You're still a winner Tas, by mummy standards!! Love Posie
PS was it fun getting the children's passport photos?? My son was 2 when he got his first passport & had to not show his teeth & we were very lucky that they accepted a shot of him with his tounge out - hey, no teeth!!
