What are they thinking?

Well, I feel that I have know you all long enough
and well enough to share things with you.

So, as I was using my battery- powered vibrating Venus Vibrance today...
sorry?...
what?...
oh, no, it's not that...
really...
...it's a razor.

Yes, really.

I am not quite sure why it is a razor.
I mean, put the words "battery-operated" and "vibrating" together
and razor is not the first word that I am gonna come up with.

Little Boozle 2011

What was the Gillette ideas man thinking?

Make it pink and make it vibrate and women will love it?

The only reason I have one
(because I know that you are wondering)
is because it was clearance stock.
Now what does that tell you, Mr Gillette ideas man?

I had to search the web to find out exactly why it vibrates.
With some trepidation I googled "venus vibrance"
Phew.
Where there may well have been a porn star or a sex shop,
there was the Gillette Venus range.

(So I ask you, how can you google "2 fat ladies" for recipes and get porn?)

According to the site,
"With the push of a button, it delivers soothing vibrations"
That's it really.

Most women bothering to give feedback had no idea why it vibrated,
did not find that function useful
and didn't use it.

The next time that I am browsing at the shops,
I think that I will be check to see if there is an "Adonis Agitator"
or perhaps a "John Holmes Special" for hubby
...in the shaving section of the supermarket, of course.
With names like that, apparently that's where I should be looking.

I'm not really here (ok, I'm procrastinating with a tiny visit) and now I am getting my just desserts. My legs are quaking in their shoes at the merest notion of a vibrating Venus razor.
